You must take the beautifully scenic gondola ride that whisks passengers high above the snow-covered Sierras. There is a small village and lodges at the resort, and a wonderful array of ski and snowboard repair shops, great shopping, dining, and drinking options. Getting Here
The area is accessible in all seasons and is just a half-days drive from Southern California or just three hours from the Reno airport. Access from all directions via the scenic north-to-south US Hwy 395, running along the eastern edge of California’s Sierra Nevada Range. There is also an airport that receives flights from nearby airports and eliminates the hassle of renting a car. There are a variety of shuttle services available directly to the resort.
